      I spent one week on work experience here in August of 2018. During this week, I spent time with various departments within this post production company; ranging from production to colour grading and compositing. My main role was to assist the runners there in ensuring clients were well fed, watered and generally taken care of by sometimes going that extra mile. In addition to this, I carried out day to day tasks such as getting staff lunches and delivering mail. During my time here, my skill set was further enhanced as I required excellent communication to work within a team and carry out my role as assistant runner effectively, this also required good teamwork and using my initiative on a day to day basis. Time management was key to my punctuality as I had to travel to London everyday.

      I spent two weeks here on work experience in December of 2015. In week one I worked with the tech crew; assisting with maintenance and stage management ranging from setting up stage set pieces and props to setting the light and sound for the show. In week two I worked in a variety of departments; reception, direct sales and marketing. During this time I helped check guests in to the hotel whilst working on arrival and departure days and aided in replying to customer mail and looking at tactical marketing. During this period of work experience, I enhanced my existing skills such as developing my customer service knowledge and communication skills. In addition to this, I really elevated my professional conduct; for example I was very reliable, well presented and punctual.
