      As a sales executive, I was responsible for handling any sales enquiries that the business received. I would follow these leads from the first day of contact all the way through to the point of sale, then well into the aftersales process. I was constantly arranging meetings with potential customers, either in person or over the phone to learn their needs for a new vehicle and any concerns they may have about an often daunting process. It would sometimes also be necessary to prospect for additional business during the quieter months of the year, in order to maintain the same amount of potential leads that I could then try and convert into deals. Once the customer was in the showroom, I demonstrated the different vehicle features and accompanied customers on test drives. This enabled me to break down the sales barriers and connect with my customers on a more personal level. I was not only selling the vehicle on its own, but also additional warranties, finance packages, insurance products, administration fees and service plans.
