My primary responsibilities were engineering, producing, and mastering the compositions of the Fabularium, working in a variety of recording studio environments (using an SSL AWS 924 mixing console and an Avid C24 Control Surface with ProTools) at Coventry University. I also had the opportunity to appear as a guest drummer on their song ‘Their Will Be Monsters!’ My primary responsibilities were engineering, producing, and mastering the compositions of the Fabularium, working in a variety of recording studio environments (using an SSL AWS 924 mixing console and an Avid C24 Control Surface with ProTools) at Coventry University. • Composer, Songwriter, Multi-Instrumentalist, Producer, Recording/Mixing Engineer
      • Sep 2015 - Present

After been given my first guitar at age 6, music has been my life ever since. Being inspired by artists and composers such as The Beatles, Phil Collins, Brian Wilson, Hans Zimmer & John Powell, along with producers like George Martin, Hugh Padgham, and Chris Lord Alge has expanded my professional musical practices in composition and recording studio production. In 2020 I released my debut EP, 'Just the Start...' in which I composed all the music and lyrics, played almost every instrument and song backing vocals, and arranged, produced and mixed everything myself. Since then I have released two music videos in support of the EP. As primarily are guitarist and a drummer, I can play 9 musical instruments above Grade 6 standard. I have posted a pdf document of all my equipment I have at my disposal. I'm currently in the process of building my own home studio to be able to record music and mix future projects for myself and other artists. My genre specialties are: rock, pop, film score (see Film Composer for 'Fear It All'), and modern classicalThe instruments I can play: guitar & drums (main instruments - grade 8 performance stand) piano, bass, various tuned & unturned percussion, organ, harmonica, ukulele, and tin/tenor whistle, and I hope to further expand my instrumental practices.

    • Composer for 'Fear It All'
      • Feb 2020 - May 2020

I composed the music for director Tom Laxton's short thriller-film, 'Fear It All.' My role was to create a haunting, spine-chilling, and atmospheric score to help guide the narrative and mood of the film. Inspired by composers such as Gygory Ligeti and Mica Levi, the score is written primarily for a string orchestra, and to maintain the fear of the film in the music I developed my own compositional techniques such as scraping a coin across the violin strings to make the score sound slightly inhuman. The film won the 'Best VFX' at the National Student Film Festival 2021

    • Composer for 'One New Notification'
      • Feb 2018 - Apr 2018

My role as the composer was to create a score that acts as a secondary narrative underneath the narration. By combining contemporary electronic sounds along with an orchestra and rock band I was able to create an ambient score to enhance the objective of the film by highlighting the growth of technology and social media in the modern world. All the music was performed, programmed, mixed and mastered by myself.

    • Composing, Recording and Producing my debut EP
      • Jan 2019 - Feb 2020

On my debut EP, ‘Just the Start…’ I wrote all the songs (music and lyrics), played all the instruments (minus the strings and woodwind), sang backing vocals, and produced it. As singing is not one of my areas of expertise, I was able to find a variety of strong singers to deliver the lead vocals on the songs. The four-song EP is now available on all music streaming platforms, along with two music videos. I will continue to write and record new material until I have enough songs to release my debut album, featuring the songs on my EP with alternative mixes.

    • Orchestra Pit - Drummer
      • May 2016 - Feb 2020

Being the drummer for Coventry University’s Musical Theatre Society (MTS) for almost four years allowed me to experience life as a member of a musical theatre pit musician. As well as continuously driving me to improve my performance and technical skills as a drummer, but it gave me experience working in a large ensemble of musicians and theatre cast members in putting on shows such as: How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying, Seussical and The Addams Family, along with seasonal showcases, which the society’s committee created that featured songs from a variety of different musicals. I would often help the Musical Director if they had any difficulty arranging the drum score. One of the final showcases I was a part of, 2019's 'The Long Way Round' (still primarily as the drummer) involved me recording the band and cast, and producing the audio of the show which was then placed on top of the filmed show. This was the first time an MTS shows had been filmed/recorded in this style.

    • Composer for 'Future Innov8ors'
      • Feb 2019 - Apr 2019

I was the composer for the documentary film 'Future Innov8ors', directed by Matt Ellgood (Ellgood Media). In the creation of the soundtrack I was inspired to take the films casts favourite styles of music, ranging from electronic to rock, and combining them with an orchestra to create a multi genre score to reflect the casts personalities and the sceneries they went to.
