      Verizon Online Served as the sole on-site support/developer for the Arbor Billing Group in all GUI-related applications, the remaining GUI staff was located offshore. My responsibilities included: Responsible for performing conversions of current J2EE-based web applications to ASP.NET, written in C#. These applications utilize the Enterprise Library Application Blocks. Developed an application to use AES Cryptography that is callable from both, Java-based and .NET-based clients by utilizing SSL Sockets. Trained other team members in Visual Studio .NET and in the VB.NET and C# languages. Provided customer support for the Group’s Operational Reports, which were hosted in Crystal Enterprise 8.5. This involved solving technical issues, and creating/modifying various Crystal Reports. Responsible for setting up new CE installations on UNIX boxes. Provided consulting on security issues, namely issues related to Web Application security. Advised team on how to avoid problems, such as cross-site scripting, and shell injection attacks. Assisted offshore personnel with issues related to standards, and application performance. Designed/Developed new GUI applications using the Apache Struts Framework. These were the first applications to be developed using Struts, and subsequently it was adapted as the standard framework for the entire group. One particular application served as a portal for the Billing Group, using reports and graphs to show various metrics. The application hosted 30+ reports, and was 40+ separate pages. Wrote UNIX Korn Shells to call Sybase Transact-SQL stored procedures in the nightly batch process. Ported parts of the STEPS application from the PowerBuilder front-end to a Java Swing front-end. Clark/Bardes, Inc. Responsible for creating various user reports to specifications for Clark Bardes internal and external customers using Powerbuilder 6.5, utilizing Oracle 8 SQL. Trammell Crow Corporation Developed complex front-end reports to support SPAN, a third-party facility management system; developed reports using PowerBuilder versions 5 and 6.5, using an Oracle database; and created additional reports using Crystal Reports version 7. Created a web-based version of the reports running on JRun 4. SABRE Responsible for enhancements and modifications to the Safety Reporting System for The SABRE Group and developed for US Airways to track potential ground safety issues at various airports. This was developed using PowerBuilder 6.5. Annuity Board of the Southern Baptist Convention Personal Security Profile (PSP) – Designed, implemented, deployed and supported this application which allows Annuity Board call center personnel to quickly give quotes to clients over the phone based on certain demographic criteria and coverage choices.
