  I co-led the AER's Value of Customer Reliability (VCR) review, which looked at the values different customers place on having a reliable electricity supply. This was the first VCR study undertaken by the AER. I successfully led the development of the VCR methodology and VCR values derived from over 9000 residential and business customer survey responses.

  I worked in the Settlement Reform where I was responsible for the development of the Target Operating Model for market-wide half-hourly settlement.   The wholesale markets branch of the AER is responsible for monitoring the performance of Australia's electricity and gas markets, and ensuring participants comply with their obligations under the National Electricity and Gas Laws and associated Rules. In this role I led the project team responsible for assessing compliance and policy issues associated with the electricity network planning obligations, in particular the Regulatory Investment Tests (RIT) for transmission and distribution investment. I was also responsible for assessing the compliance of participants with their wholesale electricity market obligations, and the development and maintenance of the AER's electricity transmission service target performance incentive scheme.
