  I initially joined Slaughter and May on a Temp Contract which lasted around 9-12 months to provide maternity within the Accounts Department. Following this period, I was offered a permanent position in the same role. My duties included: + Daily run to the Bank to deposit cheques + Post invoices received and attribute to correct cost codes + Arrange foreign currency for Partners, Lawyers and other staff making sure it arrives prior to trip + Pay suppliers invoices + Bank Account Statement Reconciliation + Posting and Reconciliation of all company travel My role developed from just an Accounts Payable role into a more overall 'Accounts' role were I dealt with monies coming into the company accounts also Show less
