I am responsible for installation, repair, operation and maintenance check of these devices, antennae and associated equipment. As the leader of this section my team and I have received numerous awards and recognition as one of the best signal units in the nation. Additionally, each company has a hierarchy of personnel, with top executives having more access to company files than those at the bottom of the chain. SharePoint Administrators are responsible for securing company files by creating security groups, allowing access to specific employees or departments, as well as setting permissions for editing abilities. Ensure Maintenance A SharePoint Administrator must ensure the proper maintenance of the SharePoint platform, servers and intranet to make sure they are functioning properly. This involves keeping a regular schedule to verify that all the required patches and updates are installed, and the platform is up-to-date on all security checks. These professionals often serve as members of the help desk, stepping in to troubleshoot and fix any SharePoint issues or malfunctions. They are also responsible for maintaining system backups so that no information is lost in a system crash. Monitor System Usage To ensure that ample disk space is available to all employees, SharePoint Administrators monitor system usage by evaluating built-in SharePoint reports and reviewing the files and websites that are no longer used and can be deleted or archived to free up space. Train Employees When implementing new SharePoint features or training new employees, SharePoint Administrators are in charge of educating them in how to use this platform. While working for this great organization i have seen many different ways that a project manager can be utilized. From the first day this company threw me onto projects as a project process analyst. I went through legacy projects and found where bottlenecks hindered the team, and worked with others in the PMO to fix the issues. My work didn't stop there, as i was brought into other teams as a deployment project manger, that basically moved objectives from infancy to hand off to the end customer, whether it be software or hardware. My most enjoyable job within HP has been within the share point PMO. Within this position i was used as design expert, architect, and farm admin. I learned a lot from the senior PM's, and I feel as though working with this group has increased my technical skills helping me transform myself into a very multi-faceted project manager that can accomplish a slew of tasks with limited information. 1) Manage large scale systems, network and software deployment projects for client companies with full oversight for design, development, deployment and production. 2) Define technical requirements and document plans for project life cycle deployment including the scheduling of project deliverable, budgets and timelines. 3) Direct all IT deployments and job scheduling with oversight for vendor and consultant management. 4) Coordinate internal IT projects ensuring that implementations are ready as required by client deadlines. 5) Proven ability to resolve complex problems, quickly diagnosing and identifying issues and determining the proper resolutions. 6) Utilize Microsoft Project to plan project initiatives, communicate goals and provide continual updates on progress. 7) Analyze, prepare and document operational procedures and technical guidelines.
