  June 2015 - September 2017 Huntsman Polyurethanes P/L Project Engineer Responsibilities: ⦁ Reporting to the Operations Manager ANZ ( as part of the Operations Management Team ) which produces polyurethane compounds for the local industry. ⦁ Plant and equipment of two prepolymer reactors and four polyol mixing vessels and associated equipment. ⦁ Manage capital improvement projects from concept to commissioning, ensuring compliance to regulations, AS and Huntsman Corporate EHS & PSM standards. ⦁ Review and update project and engineering related procedures within the DMS ensuring compliance to regulations, etcs. ⦁ Provide technical support to the plant in EHS & Process Safety ⦁ Develop and implement site plant dossier, PSI and preventative maintenance system (MEX). Achievements: ⦁ New capital expenditure projects for a TDI tank upgrade and unloading station from conception to commissioning. ⦁ Completed the relocation of the RUS 21 - LCP. ⦁ Reviewed the major upgrade of the Polyols V5 vessel project. ⦁ Completed the updated review of the Hazardous Area Classification of the site. ⦁ Reviewed a preventative maintenance system for the production sreas to improve downtime.(MEX)

  July 2008 - June 2015 Hexion P/L : Reliability Engineer. Responsibilities : ⦁ Reporting to the Site Leader - Brimbank of a specialty resins business to the wood panel industry. The site consists of three resin reactors and a formaldehyde plant, operating on a 24/7 basis. ⦁ Managing the Maintenance Dept ( 5 tradesmen) to ensure emergency response planning and implementation occurs. Using the computerised SAP maintenance system to ensure predictive and preventative maintenance programs are met onsite. Ensuring the reliability and quality of the equipment improves. ⦁ Ensuring capital programs are implemented and monitored to Hexion Standards. Managing and programming costs to project completion. ⦁ Controlling maintenance and capital budgets for each plant through the use of the CCMS system SAP, and developing new projected maintenance budgets as required. ⦁ Facilitate good governance and awareness of a Major Hazard Facility, OH&S , Australian Standards and other regulatory compliances ⦁ Preparing equipment and issuing Safe Work clearances and permits (confined space,fall protection, hot work, lift studies,etcs) for maintenance activities. Using JSERA's, Serious Incident Factors, Safety Concerns to have work completed. Achievements: ⦁ Successfully contributed to the installation and commissioning of a $3.3 M resin tankfarm and load out bay. ⦁ Successfully contributed to the replacement of the Plant 5 reactor (approx 1.5 M). ⦁ Successfully contributed to the installation and commissioning of a $400K site waste water/effluent system. ⦁ Assisted in the implementation of a series of new control measures for the MHF Case Study for Worksafe 2012, incorporated function performance testing. ⦁ Through Six Sigma Black Belt projects: ⦁ Reduced Maintenance Dept costs for - 1/ Emergency Response planning. 2/ Predictive and Preventative Maintenance Programmes 3/ MHF Control Measures(Rapid Lean Projects). 4/ Value Stream mapping
