      • Dec 2019 - Jan 2020

In 2019, I was accepted an internship at a law firm called Chance Bridge Partner’s in Beijing, which I was situated at until January 26 2020. This internship was offered by Macquarie University to satisfy a Professional And Communal Engagement (PACE) unit for my Law Degree. My daily routine consisted of reviewing and translating international contracts or correspondence to other law firms/companies, applying legal research to solve problems related to matters inclusive of foreign judgments and awards, and identifying complications regarding international property disputes. To compliment this, I also taught a law workshop for 1 hour on Thursday’s where I taught my colleagues about different facets of Australian Law that I have learnt throughout my degree. Not only has this workshop bolstered my public speaking skills, but has also reaffirmed that I have confidence and cadence in my communication, especially when teaching such important topics to my colleagues who do not hold English as their first language.
