Working within the Berwick Partners brand, I focused on retained search for organisations recruiting sub-board leadership roles within the UK Built Environment life-cycle including tier 1 contractors, design consultants, PM/CM and specialist subcontractors. Starting initially as an Associate Consultant before being promoted to Consultant, I successfully secured new clients to the business ranging from privately-owned construction companies to international PLCs. In 2018, I partnered with the Institution of Civil Engineers to research and author an extensive research paper titled: "Digital Transformation: The Evolution of Leadership in Construction". The research collated over 50 C-Suite interviews and concluded recommendations for CEO's for developing leadership and digital talent, and provide a framework for Adaptive Leadership. During my time with Odgers, I was part of the newly-established D&I UK Council, sitting as part of the 'best practice' work stream.
