RECOMMENDATION: I have been fortunate to have worked closely with George Delibaltas for almost ten (10) years. George, in his capacity as the Project Lead for the Brisbane Auto Mall - situated within the Brisbane Airport Corporation (BAC) site, has worked cleverly and tirelessly on bringing to fruition the most developed Automotive retail and experience centre in Australia and the Asia-Pacific region. George contracted my company to perform the original feasibility study and conduct an industry 'road-show' to determine the levels of interest from the macro automotive sector. In parallel we conducted various media activities and industry workshops to stimulate further automotive interest and ensure the internal track design and circuit facilities could encompass all areas of driver experience including a skid-pan, low-friction track, off-road courses, kick-plate, slalom and brake manoeuvre lanes comprising various track layouts to suit all levels of driver competency. The innovative point of difference for this pioneering project was to create the best 'test-drive'experience in Australia. The concept, now totally embraced by the industry, was to permit the first drive of an L or P plater through to an advanced performance vehicle drive experience. The 2.5km full circuit and the smaller derivatives on the western and eastern extremities of the site, was designed in conjunction with the world's governing body of motorsports - FIA to be the first Grade 3T testing facility in the world. This accreditation and sanctioning have been communicated to the industry and has received the commensurate plaudits from the highest level vehicle manufacturers and potential track operators worldwide. Further, the key anchor tenant - Eagers Automotive is the largest automotive retailer in Australia. Their on-site presence represents the biggest single retail facility in the country and hosts their multiple manufacturer brands within this master planned development. Given the period I have worked with George, I could not recommend him more highly as an astute, trustworthy leader who communicates well and is 100% committed to achieving great results.

John Gaskin AM

Gaskin Construction Services and their team have a working relationship directly with Brisbane Airport Corporation commenced early 2009 with George Delibaltas when he was the Property Development Manager. George then took up the role as Head of Property Development for BAC and during this period we worked closely with George and his team in delivering approximately 40 odd projects for BAC Property Development. The GCS team and I have enjoyed working with George over the 13 years of our association. George demonstrated his many skills in managing the property development at Brisbane Airport for BAC and was responsible for the successful delivery of the BAC’s property development portfolio. George’s decision to leave BAC to take up other property opportunities will ensure that his expertise, skills and leadership qualities will continue to contribute to the development of the property industry and maintain the high level of leadership that George is so well known for. We wish George all the success with his future, and I personally look forward to working with George on many opportunities in the future John Gaskin and the GCS Team
