  During the six weeks holidays before I commenced my college course at New College in Huddersfield, I worked for a local pub as a pot washer/kitchen porter. I was responsible for ensuring that the kitchen was clean and free from any dirty pots, pans, plates etc. I used manual washing skills to remove food waste and polish items, completing to high-quality standards, efficiently washing assortments of kitchen items to keep within company targets to avoid washing backlog. I operated the dishwasher to clean glassware, cutlery, plates, and other items as required, while keeping the dishwasher in excellent, safe, and efficient working order by conducting regular maintenance and inspections. I kept my workspace clean, hazard-free, and sanitary by conducting regular deep cleans, including sweeping, dusting, and disinfecting. Show less
