Della Cannings QPM

As Chairman of the Independent Advisory Panel at the Army Foundation College (Harrogate) I saw George's work at close quarters. He ran an excellent company that enabled the 16 and 17 year old junior soldiers ( male and female) to develop and grow into mature youngsters fit for military service. He was firm and fair in all his dealings with them whether in France in a realities of war tour or on exercise out in the training ranges etc. A thoroughly good chap.
