I joined Kennedys when it had 6 garden centres and was owned by Travis Perkins (at that time Travis & Arnold). In 1994 I completed an MBO with the backing of Kleinwort Benson DC and BOS. By the time we exited in 1998 for double the purchase price, we operated 13 garden centres..
