I am sad to see George Anderson leave KEMET, but the closing of the entire plant in Nevada brings inevitable changes. George has been a valuable colleague and team member of mine for twelve years. George has demonstrated excellent management skills as the head of the analytical and quality departments in addition to his natural role as mentor and consultant to numerous engineers and technicians in chemistry and statistical quality control. I wish George the best of luck moving forward.

I’ve worked with George for more than 12 years, and I have great respect for his intellect and work ethic. He is known for the reliability and attention to detail needed to supply KBP production with timely and accurate chemical and physical analyses on a 24/365 basis. He is easy to work with and is a good team player. He is effective in training and supervising several technicians. As QC manager he has instilled a quality mentality that has spread from the lab into the plant’s manufacturing practices. His talent for organizing information has facilitated consistently good performance in ISO and rigorous internal audits. He is an active learner and has mastered new disciplines as his responsibilities have increased over the years. I would not hesitate to recommend him as a quality control or laboratory manager.
