Had the pleasure of working along side George for 5 weeks whilst he completed his internship at Meridian IT as a Software Dev. George is a bright, intelligent young man. Very much a self starter who was eager to get stuck into what ever work he could get his hand on. Im sure George will go on to do some fantastic things after Univeristy. He has all the ability and skill he needs to succeed in life I wish him all the best in his future endevours, and am fully confident that he will be a credit to what ever organisiation he becomes a part of.

For my summer internship 2019, I worked in a collaborative project between IBM Watson, Meridian IT and Velindre Cancer Centre Cardiff, working on the RiTTA (Realtime Information Technology Towards Activation) project. RiTTA is the next iteration of IBM’s virtual assistant, a project developing ways to integrate artificial intelligence (AI) into hospitals to answer patients’ questions 24/7.
