  I originated from a family law practice , started by my father Hamish Shearer. I joined the firm after studying at Victoria Univeristy, and was quickly made a Partner at a young age of 28. I took over the firm in 2000 and saw an opportunity to join the progressive firm of Govett Quilliam which has enabled me to provide a more comprehensive range of services for my clients.
