★ Carl Neupert ★彡 𝙏𝙖𝙡𝙚𝙣𝙩 𝘿𝙚𝙫𝙚𝙡𝙤𝙥𝙚𝙧
Geoff, or as I knew him at the time, Commander Gorman, was a phenomenal Auxiliaries Officer on the aircraft carrier, the USS Dwight D. Eisenhower (CVN 69). He led over 120 Sailors through several short fused deployments in a high stress environment. You could say he was like a super project manager on civilian terms leading us through millions of dollars worth of repairs and maintenance by collaborating with over 20 different contracting companies to complete the work. I would say that one of his best attributes is how he leads. He is firm, but fair. He will give you the benefit of the doubt and allow you to prove yourself without letting you fall on your face. Most importantly, he cares. He cares about his people. As a leader, if your people believe in you, there really is nothing you can't accomplish. Thanks for still doing what you do best on the civilian side sir! It was an honor to serve with you! V/r, Senior Chief Carl Neupert
