Geoff was a great asset to the company we worked for especially with product development and printability issues. I learned a great deal from him.

Michelle Cole

Geoff is a highly accomplished leader and Six Sigma Black Belt who drives change and delivers both innovative strategies and business solutions. His diverse background, excellent leadership skills, and strong work ethic enable him to quickly access and solve complex business problems while balancing technical, operations, and business demands. As a Process Engineer at Avery Dennison, he skillfully aligned business leaders, customers, and suppliers across the globe to help start-up a new business and drive sustainable process improvements. He thrived in this fast-paced and often ambiguous environment. He demonstrated his ability to link strategy and execution by translating complex technical issues into business language and by using business analytics to develop executable processes that drove accountability and balanced the risk/ reward ratio. This project required collaboration across 6 countries to both specify and install equipment and to develop and execute the process and procedures. His results-orientation combined with the unique combination of excellent leadership AND technical astuteness make him an asset that is difficult to replace. Thank you Geoff for both what you delivered and for what you taught me along the way.

Start up of the self adhesive postage stamp, Duracell Powercheck label. Recruited as a printing expert and operator at the infant stage of the business life cycle, the challenge was to start-up a new process and plant. During this dynamic and intense life cycle of development, growth, maturity and decline, was selected for promotions to Tooling Coordinator to Project Engineer to Tooling Manager to Process Engineer based on outstanding performance. Gained expertise in negotiation, vendor relations, capital management, and was a key member of a team that successfully launched an $80MM business. In this role I was a core team member of the powercheck battery label of 9 people. As the business and demand of the product progressed the number of employees increased by over 300% resulting in a business that is still in production today.

Mastercraftsman Press operator / Lead supervisor. This facility was one that produced high end quality labels. These labels were produced on some of the finest Mark Andy and Gallus presses. They were a variety of print methods; rotary screen, flexo, letterpress, and offset. My daily responsibilities were to oversee the rotary screen printing department, to ensure specifications were met that the customer had defined. This included color, graphics, label size, quantities, and any other attribute the customer provided.
