Genna is one of those people you meet and work with who you will forever remember. She was a peer mentor in my Student Success course that I taught at Union County College. She was an integral part of my teaching experience as she was relatable to students and utilized her experiences to connect with students and help them through the class and college transition experience. She was readily available to me and students and had the energy needed to be such an amazing team player. She is creative and responsible and was a true leader. She was actively involved and was someone that students could look up to. Genna was always motivated to give 100% of herself into everything and was such a pleasure to share a classroom with her. If given the opportunity, I would work with her again and she would make an asset on ANY team.
