Mesh is the platform for the Enterprise Internet of Things (IoT) with full developer and e-commerce support. Our IoT platform is a combination of local sensor devices, intelligent routers and cloud tools. Mesh is your single source for all IoT needs. Created a cloud / SaaS platform that's highly scalable running on Linux and using Play Framework (Java), Couchbase (NoSQL), MQTT, Akka, Nginx, RESTful APIs, JWT (JSON Web Tokens), OAuth2, jQuery, Javascript, AJAX, Bootstrap, Font Awesome, HTML5, CSS3, LESS, and a handful of supporting libraries and tools. I designed it to be scalable, responsive, resilient, and elastic on backend and frontend running on AWS EC2 and Azure. I've also created as part of the platform an analytics engine, a user configurable dashboard for management of IoT devices and events / data reporting (charts, graphs, exporting) with rules based notifications, fine grained role and security controls, an admin dashboard with trending, and a web integrated development environment for IoT applications that are compiled in the cloud and pushed down to the IoT devices. The RESTful APIs are documented using Swagger annotations and are not only for use by third parties but also consumed by the web site design and unit testing tools. Created a smart buildings IoT analytics engine and UI (dashboards and ad-hoc reporting) that's highly scalable, responsive, resilient, and elastic and is easily capable of supporting millions of IoT devices submitting time series data points every second using Kafka, Spark (Scala), Play Framework (Scala), Couchbase (NoSQL), Akka, Mesos, Grafana.
