"Extremely thorough and efficient" is the phrase that comes to mind when I work with Gene on a writing project. Gene has edited all of my books in a fast and professional manner with results that outshine other books from big publishers (I have the comments / reviews to prove it!). Gene's ability to both review the details of the text and then review the writing in a holistic manner has lead directly to finished books that are vastly improved over the original drafts. Gene's outgoing and frankly, fun, personality makes him a joy to work with. Any organization would benefit greatly from Gene's skill set.
