Since joining North Star in 2014 after building up knowledge within the customer service team, I began to explore other areas within the organisation, which helped me to deepen my skillset. I have pursued opportunities such as managing an apprentice, been involved in many groups and projects, including North Star's Inclusion group, Managing the North Star way and North Star's 2023 company vision. I have completed voluntary work within the Community Investment Team, such as helping young adults to gain interview skills and techniques, this was extremely rewarding to be involved in. Most recently I secured a secondment within internal and external PR and Communications for North Star. I am expanding my skills through picking up the running of North Star's PR, working with staff, external partners and multi agencies to promote North Star's profile and reputation.
