I worked closely with a large amateur society on this newly created compilation show "Destination Anywhere" featuring 42 musical numbers from shows the society has performed in the past. I put the book together placing 579 lighting cues, 135 AV cues, 12 Fly cues, Standbys and Backstage calls onto the musical scores, and even sourced a score for one of the dance numbers so that I could cue musically. I liased closely with the Stage Manager, and occasionally acted as a go-between for the company and venue. With a handful of numbers from track, but the majority being lead by MD and pit band, I called some particularly fast sequences to Footloose, Just Arrived and Ex-Wives, and operated the all the AV cues and Tabs alongside calling the LX. Following on from the departure of the Lighting and Sound Departments along with Emma Rice's departure as Artistic Director; along with a colleague, our responsibility has been to keep the venue running in terms of assisting the summer season 2018 and general maintenance of the technical equipment around the building. Key responsibilities include: hiring and looking after wireless comms and radios, adjusting and plotting the discreet "shared lighting" states for each show, being fully responsible for pyrotechnics, assisting the stage crew with their set turnarounds, looking after daily pre-show checks, attending production meetings, installing practical lights in handheld props, organising our rotas and filing in our timesheets, and troubleshooting issues with show relay and backstage paging.
