I worked in a collaborative project to explore the role of trafficking machinery on cell polarity of the gut epithelium. During the development of the project I discovered new paths that lead me to unveil the importance of adhesion complexes recycling for intestinal homeostasis. It was a fruitful experience where I had the freedom to work and collaborate with different teams, to direct my own research project autonomously and to gain expertise on mouse models, 3D culture, and high resolution microscopy.
