  Founded in 1934 by Sir C V Raman the Indian Academy of Sciences, Bangalore was registered as a Society on 27 April 1934 with the main objective of promoting the progress and upholding the cause of science. Resonance – Journal of Science Education, started by the Academy in the year 1996 is a major endeavor in this direction. The journal targets primarily at science education for undergraduate students and teachers and focuses on enriching the processes of teaching and learning science thereby stimulating science education in the country. At Resonance, I am involved majorly in the processing, content and language editing of the scientific articles and share responsibility for ensuring the timely production of the journal in liaison with the authors and other stakeholders.
