Tradeshift has a small data team with a wide and complex tech stack. Within a matter of weeks, Geejo was already consistently completing Jira tasks at a rate nearly matching that of the more senior folks on the team. I quickly had so much confidence in Geejo that in a matter of months, he was leading our major project to duplicate and deploy our normal data tech stack into China, so that business services behind the Chinese firewall had all the same quality of data and reporting that the rest of the world had. This is an ongoing and major task that is still only partially complete, but I am fully confident that Geejo will lead it to excellent success. I am not sure where Geejo gets all the energy, or if he just happens to be able to do everything so much faster than the rest of us, but all of this amazing work has been happening while at the same time his personal life has been incredibly busy. I am sure he is managing a huge amount of stress and responsibility, but I would never know it when interacting with him. He is an upbeat and positive person, and has never shown me any frustrations or difficulties. It has been an honor and a pleasure to manage Geejo. I wish him all the best in the future, that his career continues to flourish, and that he gets an opportunity soon to test how his new ML / data science skills!
