I had the great pleasure working with Ged for nearly 4 years on several major projects/accounts at CSC. Ged is a high performer, having the will and determination to get the job done. He communication skills are exceptional and he works across all levels from technical teams though to CXO. He has the invaluable ability to build the bridges between different cultures for maximum team performance. Without a doubt, during that time Ged became my top choice whenever I needed someone to manage and establish control over an essential change. I first met Ged while acting as a Global Platform Service Lead for Bombardier Transportation account - Ged was assigned to lead one of the strategic account projects, I was the sponsor of, and had to meet nearly impossible targets. Demonstrating his unconventional thinking, and working through management organisation both within the account and outside it, Ged managed to plan for and obtain executive support to enable shared deliverables i.e. getting other projects to deliver parts of the scope for him, therefore compressing the schedule just enough to hit the target dates, and then delivered the plan in a highly controlled manner. Following the performance Ged demonstrated on that assignment, I invited him for a new challenge of joining me on United Technologies Corporation account and recovering a major EMEA-wide programme that had been underperforming significantly, helping to regain customer’s trust and rectifying its negative financial impact on the account. Ged managed to transform the programme to a totally new level: the governance structure was changed, new Agile processes and tools were introduced, multi-level quality control mechanisms were implemented, vendor-customer relations shifted from passive/reporting into active/collaborative mode – resulting into the on-time/on-budget delivery of the planned scope with a big spike in customer feedback rating. Ged was also highly engaged into generic account management activities, such as hosting client-facing EMEA operational service reviews, even if such fell outside of his normal responsibilities. Based on my experience, I find Ged to be a multi-talented individual, who can put on a business hat, or a technical hat, or a project hat and be comfortable in any of them. Ged has breadth to see the strategic and still execute a tactical workplan, is results-driven and is thrives on challenging assignments, tight deadlines and works well under adverse conditions. Ged has proved himself to be well respected and highly regarded by all stakeholders, and I personally would love to have the opportunity to work with Ged again – I recommend him without any reservations.

As a Head of Project Management Delivery at CSC Baltic I have managed Ged for more than 5 years at CSC, and during most of that time he was reporting to me directly, including during his assignment as an Industry Program Executive. I was privileged to work with, and have evidenced the professional and personal growth of Gediminas, his outstanding performance resulting in ever-increasing responsibilities, excellent customers’ feedback and major contribution to the growth of the project capability centre, and to the growth of a regional CSC business as well. Whilst in the project/program manager’s shoes, Gediminas has continuously demonstrated excellent project management skills and expertise, exceptionally strong communication and stakeholder management capabilities, high attention to team’s morale and performance, and relentless determination to get the job done no matter the challenges. With that attitude, he has turned around and successfully delivered multiple business critical projects for some of the largest global CSC accounts. In every assignment, he had become a de-facto delivery spoke/representative of the Lithuanian PM team, triggering the exponential growth of the footprint we had within the respective accounts, coaching, supporting and training more junior members of the team along the way. As the Industry Program Executive, Diversified, Nordic, the largest Industry in the region, Gediminas was a key player of the regional management team, responsible for achieving highly challenging business targets. Throughout this journey he has again demonstrated ability to reach established targets, very sound, value-focused leadership approach, engaging relevant stakeholders, mobilising his subordinates and actively driving the transformational change within the delivery organisation, including promotion, implementation and sharing of CSC-standard program executive practices to a global CSC community, establishment of proactive leads-opportunities- sales management processes.
