My primary area of treatment is in surgical/trauma and shock trauma ICU consulting on patients with polytrauma, TBI, SCI, various abdominal surgeries, complex medical, liver/kidney/pancreas transplant, and obstetric (antepartum and postpartum) cases at a 452 bed level 1 trauma center. I also have experience with ortho/post op joint replacement, neurology, oncology, and inpatient neuro rehab. Float to any unit when there is a need based on patient census. I am a part of multiple work groups within the hospital system to help with standardizing care and continuous improvement, such as documentation and safe patient handling/transfer training. Also am a member of general acute care professional workgroup and pelvic health group in order to coordinate care between our outpatient pelvic PTs and eventual inpatient obstetrics PT program. I love teaching, learning, and the ability to grow within this career. Learning and teaching towards value based care. I take DPT students yearly for their 8-12 week clinical rotations
