Gabe and I co-directed the OUR Schools program at greeNEWit. While my time working directly with Gabe was relatively short (7 months), I can confidently state that he has an amazing drive for success. At the beginning of our time together, Gabe and I collaborated on the redevelopment of a program he had been pivotal in creating and managing. While he had brought the program a far distance, he was humble and willing to accept my perspective and ideas. Among other roles, Gabe was the main presenter of the program. He had no fear of preforming to an auditorium of 700 elementary aged students and teachers. During the months that followed, Gabe's zest for life and passion shined though in every aspect of the program. He brought his love and skill for music into the program by writing a children's song that teaches about energy efficiency and sustainability in a fun and engaging way. At our STEM night events, Gabe taught parents and students about how their homes work as an ecosystem by dressing up as Detective Wallace, a Home Energy Detective. As a co-director, Gabe provided valuable knowledge in strategic thinking, detailed oriented planning, and business development. His patience and willingness to help others was apparent in our work with over 30 schools across Maryland. Each schools year, Gabe was responsible for the management of our intern program by providing them with guidance both in the office and in college preparedness. Overall, I would strongly recommend Gabe for any position that involved teaching, children, and business development that required an entrepreneurial thought process. He is an incredibly talented musician, a confident leader, and was a valuable asset to the development and growth of the OUR Schools program. Without his dedication and drive the program would have never succeeded as well as it did.

www.wearemoneyclub.com Financial education and empowerment is too important to people's health, relationships and communities to go unaddressed. As Education Director of Money Club, I’m honored to work with companies, youth organizations and individuals to help them build stability and freedom with their money. In addition to education on financial literacy and wealth building, we build upon principles of social-emotional learning to teach people how to identify their values with money, and how to change their habits and behaviors to align with those core values. I lead a team of 5 on the build out and implementation of all our online programming, including weekly workshops and coaching calls, 20+ hours of self-paced interactive e-learning content, and employee wellness and professional development workshops. I also lead the production on all our content marketing efforts, including our website, email, social media, video channel, and blog. To date, we have worked with over 3,000 individuals of all ages. My personal favorites are helping the teams of mission-driven businesses through our employee wellness programs, and training facilitators to lead our youth financial literacy programs. A personal motto I teach by is -- 'if you put money to the wrong intention, you'll just go the wrong way faster'.
