Palmy.io was a kind of prototype aside dopamyn.io. I learned a lot of things, and now was the time to put them into practice. After much thought, I decided to renew the revenue sharing site experience with something different from palmy.io. The revenue model was too weak, mainly due to the reliance on third-party platforms, often not as reliable as I hoped ... Dopamyn.io still fulfills the same need as the previous project, namely to distribute small amounts of cryptocurrency every day in exchange for simple tasks. Not a platform, but an ecosystem, it solves the most important problem to me about faucets: reliance on third-party platforms. That means not only the revenue model is destined to be more reliable, but also there is no need to fill the page with blinking ad banners and , even worse, popups. Also, the focus on gamification and user experience is even more important. I could even say that UX is the most important point on this project. Show less

First version: A simple crypto faucet, generating revenues from advertising banners, popups and affiliate links. Second version: Improved user experience, exploring gamification concepts Third version: Aside the previous versions, this major evolution was focused on user retention (through gamification and social proof) and the diversification of revenues: PTC, CPC and shortlinks. The website was still depending on 3rd party adverting platforms. But that's not the end of the story. Take a look at my Dopamyn Network experience ! Show less

When I was 17yo, I had a dream: Listen to any music, including from underground artists, without any time limit, without ads, with HQ audio (mp3 320bps), with personalized recommendations based on listen history, and with the ability to download a HQ mp3. So, that's what I built. Artist, Tracks, Albums and recommendations were retrieved from an aggregation and data merge of Spotify, LastFM, Deezer and EchoNest (startup bought by spotify few years later). MP3 files were collected from the VK audio API, youtube audio sources and Bittorrent streaming. The challenge was, among the different data sources, to normalize the collected data, detect duplicates and merge them in order to display high quality information to the user. Although it was initially planned, I never released this website on the internet. Firstly because it was illegal, and secondly because this kind of service seemed hard to monetize. So what's the point ? I listened a lot of music, for sure. But more seriously, I was my first complete PHP (vanilla) / JS (jQuery) with a lot technical challenges. I can easily say that Tastyflow was the initial spark of my web development experience. Show less
