• Achieved inspection report in Parisian public buildings – disabled people oriented • Gained with my collaborator customer’s loyalty of more than 50 clients in 1 year Skills leveraged Sensors and Localization: • Implemented Extended and Unscented Kalman Filter algorithms in C++ capable of tracking object's motion in both two and three dimensions • Built a 2-dimensional particle filter in C++ capable of localizing a vehicle within desired accuracy and time Controllers: • Implemented a PID controller in C++ to maneuver a vehicle around a track. • Built Model Predictive Control to drive a vehicle around a track even with additional latency between commands Path planning: • Implemented a path planner that navigates a vehicle through traffic on a highway • Used the concepts taught in the path planning concentrations and systems module on Udacity Self-driving-car courses - environmental prediction, behavioral planning, and trajectory generation - to build the planner Real-world integration of a self-driving car: • Collaborated with a team of 5 people, intensively using GitHub for one month • Implemented the concept of waypoints navigation previously seen in the MPC and Path planning project. We retrained the TensorFlow object detection API on Bosch dataset to detect traffic lights and we used the KD-Tree algorithm to efficiently find the point in a set that is nearest to a given input point. • Learned about Autonomous Vehicle Architecture and built a ROS environment to run the code on the car Semantic segmentation: • Generated a dataset of RGB images and labeled image utilizing CARLA, the cutting-edge open-source simulator for autonomous vehicles developed by Intel Labs • Took the images extracted from the CARLA simulator and applied a perception algorithm to identify which pixels in those images correspond to other vehicles. In my case, the model used was VGG16 pre-trained on MNIST dataset Show less
