PRESTIGE AUTOMOTIVE GROUP, Stamford, CT 11/16 to Present General Manager - PRESTIGE VOLKSWAGEN STAMFORD, Stamford, CT/PRESTIGE LEXUS NY I was recruited by this major automotive retailer to manage business operations of the largest volume Volkswagen dealer-ship in Connecticut selling new and pre-owned vehicles with a current staff of thirty-four. Upon joining the company, I conducted total strategic business analysis in areas of staffing, profit margins, receivables and other business functions to identify and eliminate redundancies and non-profitable business sectors. Aggressively worked to improve pre-owned vehicle sales and profit margins from that business sector, as well as reducing overhead in the Service area. Reduced staff from 51 to 34 employees while maintaining and increasing sales and revenue productivity. Eliminated more than $12k in unnecessary monthly overtime for service technicians. To date, I have reduced overhead and operating expenses by $450,000. In late 2017 I was asked to oversee their new Lexus store in Middletown, NY. Currently the General Manager of Lexus of Middletown. Analyzed all areas of business operations with the goal of reducing or eliminating unprofitable or non-productive procedures. Worked collaboratively with staff to implement process improvements. Additionally served as Pre-Owned Vehicle Manager which included buying / selling used vehicles, setting pricing, verifying previous owners’ vehicle registration and obtaining CARFAX vehicle history reports. Entrusted with multiple referrals of VIP customers from Toyota corporate management to accommodate their personal vehicle needs. Generated a 102% improvement in net revenue over 2014. Ranked in the top 20% for our Customer Satisfaction Index (CSI) out of 113 Toyota stores in the Northeast District.
