I had the pleasure of working with Gayla at JP Morgan Chase. Gayla was promoted to an Underwriting Site Manager. She was immediately given a difficult challenge to manage an entire site that was re-purposed from a Loss-Mitigation business line to a Retail Mortgage Loan Underwriting Center. Gayla rolled up her sleeves and took on the challenge by mentoring the current staff along with bringing on additional staff (Underwriters and Team Managers) to accommodate the growing needs of the Sales force within the South Region. This was not an easy task to accomplish, Gayla and her team managed to improve month over month on all metrics within the Dallas Underwriting Site. As the Regional Underwriting Manager, Gayla made my job easier.
