Nolan Henderson
Gayla Randel has been the face of Family and Consumer Sciences education since I began my teaching career. She has pioneered our field into this new Career and Technical Education world and has made an impact on schools and Family and Consumer Sciences that put the state of Kansas on the best states to work in for FCS teachers. Her leadership has guided Kansas into a new era as the previous generations teachers began to retire and she has set the bar for what a state program should be ran at the National levels.

Gayla has the school districts of Kansas's best interest at the forefront of everything she does. She was a joy to work with during my time with KSDE. She is a valued member of the Career Standards team.
