Key project was a full UX redesign which became a key driver of immediate and long-term revenue growth. • Co-led full overhaul of user interface, dovetailing it with a new, simplified structure for commercial offerings. Project created new, easily understood master groupings for Power, Upstream & Downstream Oil & Gas, Coal & regional integrated energy markets, replacing hundreds of discrete, overlapping legacy product offerings from 7 different research firms acquired by IHS over the years. • New interface was the "tip-of-the spear" in fully leveraging the new product offerings. Project is credited with driving millions of dollars in first-year revenue growth as well as long-term growth of 5-10% per year (see LinkedIn recommendation). • My role included directing user-research consulting project; partnering with UX team for vision and full redesign; ensuring key findings translated into market & user segments with features prioritized accordingly; orchestrating the launch over several releases throughout 2016; creating positioning messages, sales training and user launch materials. • Resulting launch garnered uniformly positive reviews and built growth in energy business unit during a down-market year amidst low oil prices, and is credited as a driving factor in continued strong performance. • Prior to launch, created a program of 30 internal "Superusers" who filled an expertise gap for each legacy platform, assisting with pre- and post-sales support while interface was being re-worked.
