  Responsibility for integration of the Euroking maternity solution with hospital PAS/HISS, Ultrasound, RIS, Pathology and other departmental systems/third party providers. Development of the Euroking product links to the NHS Digital Spine PDS service (and any re-certification) also fall under my remit. Primarily using the Mirth (NextGen) Connect interoperability platform, interface development encompasses various formats including HL7 versions 2 and 3, web services/XML as well as bespoke information transfer methods with legacy systems. Recent projects have increasingly seen my experience within maternity and healthcare integration used to incorporate the areas of requirement identification and functional specification to my existing technical role A significant element of my role is customer facing –via telephone and email but also in person during site visits – often as a stakeholder at implementation project meeting and providing pre-sales support. In addition I am frequently involved in specifications/testing for enhancements to interface functionality with third party systems within the maternity product.
