  A beautiful wine estate near Bordeaux in SW France, producing around 15,000 cases of red, white and rosé per year. We make the house wine for Gordon Ramsay, Rick Stein and the Hotel du Vin group. Most of our wine is sold direct to a loyal band of 3,000+ private customers in the UK via our own cellars near London. Chateau Bauduc is also sold in Switzerland, Ireland, Denmark and Abu Dhabi.   Thirteen great years, and what a ride. We grew the business from £1 million to £1 billion turnover in the UK, before the company floated on the London Stock Exchange in 1998. I was extremely fortunate in being able to buy a beautiful Chateau in Bordeaux with the proceeds of my share options, most of which I had earned as General Manager for London from 1992 and then as Head of Sales for the UK in the mid-90s. I was regarded as a Sales Manager who knew far more about wine than I did computers. Thirteen great years, and what a ride.
