The organization’s growth put a strain on our infrastructure and capital, compounded by inefficient processes and a lack of system support. My two immediate tasks are to modernize our systems and procedures, and to create a capital foundation that will support our growth to $500M in 2014. Accomplishments include: • Formation of organizational plan, including hiring a Controller for each location. • Re-assigning of roles and responsibilities to align talent with need and place top personnel in strategic roles. • Began research to migrate to new ERP, upgrading our finance, accounting and payroll functionality. • Complete overhaul of major accounting procedures including payables, invoicing and inventory controls. • Marketed senior credit facility to incumbent lender and numerous new commercial lending institutions. • Worked closely with audit partner and interviewed potential new audit relationships. • Created systematic and robust reporting to support sales, operations and weekly Senior Management reviews. • Successfully negotiated comprehensive consolidation of all capital leases, delivering $14K in monthly cash flow.
