Faith Formation Instructor, Social Media Content Creator, Camp Counselor
-
Jun 2018 - Aug 2022
My summers at Catholic Community Choir were spent teaching kids the basics of musical theatre while also documenting the camp's day full of faith, fun, and friendship via Social Media. The variety of roles I took on at this camp taught me so much, for example: Faith Formation Instructor - This was an incredible position to have at a business like this. I would regularly prepare lessons for 5-6 groups a day ranging from Kindergarten to 8th graders. This taught me the skills necessary to prepare lessons regarding the Catholic Faith which is at the center of everything I do. It allowed me to practice public speaking and articulation to such an easy going, but at the same time very hard to reach audience. Social Media Content Creator - My time at Catholic Community Choir (CCC) is where I really developed my skills in content creation. Making up to 5+ videos a summer in order to promote the summer camp, the individual shows that CCC put on, and the business itself gave me the opportunity to learn what works and what doesn't when it comes to content creation. I specialized in daily story posts to their Facebook and Instagram, posts that highlighted the culture at CCC, and weekly videos to highlight their shows and special events. Show less

Social Media Marketing Manager
-
Jun 2020 - Oct 2020
Meeting deadlines, building a foundation for a good social media presence, and delivering customers to their business was the core of my responsibilities while working for The Actors Co-Op. In my time managing the social media accounts for The Actors Co-Op, I utilized my skills in graphic design and meeting the needs of a multiple different individuals. I created graphics using Canva and Retouch to promote acting classes (sometimes multiple classes at once) which allowed me to connect with instructors and fit a variety of styles so as to promote the culture that came with that class. I also honed in on my photography skills while capturing moments from their lessons to post to social media. Show less

Social Media Marketing Manager
-
Dec 2019 - Mar 2020
Working for Paoli Village Shoppes was one of my earlier business endeavors in Social Media Marketing that I entered into. I worked closely with the Director of Operations at this Shopping Center, along with about a dozen individual managers of retailers on site. Besides learning the ins and outs of social media sites like Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter from the business side of things, I also learned the skills necessary to work closely with many individual managers at once. By keeping organized spreadsheets of planned out posts and content, while also maintaining healthy communication among all the managers, I was able to meet the wants and needs of everyone to the best of my ability.
