  Research on new fuel concept for Light Water Reactor (LWR) called Accident Tolerant Fuel (ATF). These fuels should have better properties concerning the oxidation of claddings in LWRs. - Experimental work: oxidation of chromium coated cladding in pure air and steam at high temperature. Study of the behavior of these cladding under the oxidation environment (weight gain, hardness, microstructure). - Modelization work: Implementation of chromium coated cladding in the FRAPCON code (use to simulate fuel behavior during steady-state). - Publications: In Acta Poly Technica - Conferences: Šimáně the 30th and 31rst of May 2019 hold in CTU, Praha and QUENCH from 22nd to 24th of October 2019 hold in KIT, Karlsruhe.
