My research includes answering the question “what is the relationship of age and running experience to running biomechanics, specifically impact shock and shock attenuation?”. Duties involve data collection using wearable sensors (triaxial accelerometers embedded in inertial measurement units) and 3D motion capture, data processing, and statistical analyses. I am using Visual 3D software to build musculoskeletal models and obtain segmental and joint kinematic data. Acceleration data obtained from the sensors will be processed and analysed using MATLAB.
