    • Generation QI Summer School: Picturing Quantum Weirdness
      • Aug 2023 - Present

I am one of the few candidates, who are selected globally for this Summer school organised by ICTQT at the University of Gdansk. I will be learning about Process theories, ZX-Calculus, and resource theories of Non-Classicality. • Role of Coherence in Qudit Arithmatic: Quantum Sum under Noisy Environment
      • May 2023 - Present

Advisor: Prof. Aditi Sen DeIn this project me and my coauthors analyze Fourier transform based quantum addition circuit on qudits and its approximating counterpart in the presence of noise. We analyze coherence in the circuits and identify it as the Quantum resource for its performance. Furthermore we provide the bound on the performance of the circuit e.g. its fidelity in terms of coherence along with their analytical forms and show that fidelity is a monotone of coherence. We argue that such would be true for a wide variety of noises. We further show that in presence of noise, approximating circuits of addition with constant depth actually provide better results than their exact counterparts. We also show the advantage of using higher dimensional qudits in terms of probability and coherence. Show less

    • Chaos in Quantum Kicked top Systems
      • Jan 2023 - Apr 2023

(Advisor: Prof. M. S. Santhanam)I have simulated and analyzed Classical and Quantum Kicked Top Systems using the concepts of Classical-Quanatum correspondence and angular momentum algebra. I further characterized the chaotic behaviour of such quantum systems using level spacing distributions and symmetry classes of the Floquet operators.
