It is an honor that Mr. Mattson has asked me to write a personal reference for him. I met Mr. Mattson when I was in high school. He was in leadership with the company that I worked for. I was impressed by his ability to engage, as well as make employees feel valued. He was able to come into a large company, and make a positive impact on production; as well as retention. I than took a class from Mr. Mattson when he taught at Pittsburg State. He exhibited pride in teaching, and was able to motivate students of all different interest and backgrounds.
