As a Tax Manager, I work with clients to help manage their income, payroll, and sales tax exposure. Internally, my job is to help maintain the client relationships, administer and grow my own book of business, manage work flows, and develop the younger staff. My experience is primarily with small businesses, which allows me to maintain involvement in all aspects of a client's business, above and beyond the "typical" income tax preparer - sales/use tax, multi-state issues, payroll taxes and exposure, bookkeeping and technology support, attestation/financial statement services, etc. I work with clients across a variety of industries including professional service, construction, real estate, manufacturing, agriculture, small retail, and non-profit. As a certified QuickBooks ProAdvisor, I am also heavily involved with assisting clients in setting up and implementing their internal accounting systems, as well as ongoing training and support.
