Bio
Elyse Ping Medvigy
Gary and I both worked in fire support for 1-12 Infantry while deployed in Afghanistan, calling for artillery and aerial fire on Taliban forces and managing aircraft while on patrol. Gary is highly intelligent, adaptable, and a natural born leader who was well known throughout the battalion for both his competency as an Artillery Non-Commissioned Officer and his mentorship. He was one of the subject matter experts I looked up to in developing my own competency and he never hesitated to help both enlisted and Officer alike in mastering the skills of fire support. Gary is passionate about excelling in his work, but it is his compassion for pulling others up with him that truly defines his value. He is a team-player in every sense of the word, even in the stressful environments found in war, and I cannot recommend him highly enough as an asset to any organization.
Trevor Hanson
I served with Gary for over a year and could not be more impressed with his organizational management skills, work ethic, and relentless pursuit of excellence in any endeavor. During both home station and combat operations, Gary constantly leveraged his leadership skills and his experience to facilitate optimal results, streamlining organizational processes both logistically and operationally. He is a consummate professional, and his ability to gain consensus and influence disparate entities is a hallmark of his talent as a superior mediator and orator. Gary will prove to be an extremely valuable member of any team he chooses to join, and I give my strongest personal endorsement on behalf of Gary.
