Client Benefits: Capability to gain consensus and implement solutions without reluctance or second guessing. 𝙆𝙚𝙮 𝘼𝙧𝙚𝙖: Underlying assumptions and perceptions: I conduct focused interviews with key decision-makers, thought leaders, and “blockers” to assess the situation, understand their feelings and how they think, which ultimately drive their behaviors. 𝙆𝙚𝙮 𝘼𝙧𝙚𝙖: Understanding and recognizing different Cognitive Styles: To help organizations function better, I deliver a series of experiential seminars so participants to learn the nine universal cognitive styles, ascertain their own style, and identify the styles of others. 𝙆𝙚𝙮 𝘼𝙧𝙚𝙖: Joint problems solving and decisioning exercises: I teach problem solving to organizations, and help them avoid the common pitfalls that affect teams in their decision-making processes. 𝙆𝙚𝙮 𝘼𝙧𝙚𝙖: Group feedback and review: I conclude this training program with a series of tightly timed problem-solving exercises, in which teams compete against each other to solve a challenging problem, while videotaping their interactions and deliberations. I follow up with individual team and whole group debriefing sessions. 𝙃𝙊𝙒 𝙄 𝘿𝙊 𝙄𝙏: In a time-bounded and competitive problem-solving environment, people can truly learn how they and others are prone to behave, how different cognitive styles can hinder communication and problem solving, and what to do as a response. 𝙒𝙃𝙊 𝙄𝙎 𝙏𝙃𝙄𝙎 𝙁𝙊𝙍? COOs, LOB and Department Managers, and other parties who need to work together to respond to organizational change and implement effective and agreed-upon responses. The process is effective and memorable, and clients have often requested that I extend the process to their suppliers and TPAs as well.

Client Benefits: Re-energizing a project has many benefits to team members, outside vendors, and senior management. And you will get your project completed on time and on budget with a level of employee commitment you wouldn’t even dream was possible. 𝙆𝙚𝙮 𝘼𝙧𝙚𝙖: Project Management: As a process expert, I have gained unique insights into why teams fracture, developers mess up, and initiatives take a nosedive. Identifying the root cause is simple: is it Technology, People, or Processes? In reality, however, it is typically the integration (or lack therefore) of all three that causes project meltdown. 𝙃𝙊𝙒 𝙄 𝘿𝙊 𝙄𝙏: Working with a multilingual team of Spanish-speaking clients, Indian developers, and American managers, I recognized that clarity around project objectives was lacking because of differences in terminology and language. Additional translators hadn’t helped. More resources seemed pointless, as everyone was talking at cross-purposes, but not communicating. I created a pictorial glossary of the 200 most common activities that typical Functional Specifications require, and their definitions. Using representations, team members shared concepts, often without the need of translators. The internal dialogue shifted from rehashing standard concepts to focusing on exceptions. About 80% of the generic discussion simply went away. Delivery cycles declined from three months to one month, ultimately bringing the project back to its originally scheduled end date. 𝙒𝙃𝙊 𝙄𝙎 𝙏𝙃𝙄𝙎 𝙁𝙊𝙍? Everyone in the organization--from top to bottom--who wishes to maintain pride in his or her work, and wants to feel like they are doing a good job but is frustrated by customary processes or the status quo.

Overall, I convert your current data from a strategic impediment into a strategic weapon. You’ll realize improved service delivery, increased efficiency and effectiveness, and greater ability to manage your delivery processes (including Compliance). 𝙆𝙚𝙮 𝘼𝙧𝙚𝙖: The current Life insurance industry death notification process still relies on 1970s processes, and yields comparable results! Working with many of the nation’s largest insurance carriers, we have modernized the process to expand data sources, pool internal data, and provide substantially more timely and accurate notification to the financial industry. Our LENS (Life Events Notification Service) product is a breakthrough performance tool that gives you reliable and accurate daily death data— accelerating estate closure, streamlining beneficiary paperwork, and reducing fraud! 𝙃𝙊𝙒 𝙄 𝘿𝙊 𝙄𝙏: Gathering new data sources, standardizing them, and making them easily available to multiple parties benefits the entire industry by increasing efficiency. But it requires a real understanding of industry needs, processes, and regulations. As a carrier owned entity, we work to benefit the industry, without the financial considerations or constraints that come with private equity funding. 𝙒𝙃𝙊 𝙄𝙎 𝙏𝙃𝙄𝙎 𝙁𝙊𝙍? Any organization with a business need to improve the timeliness of its data regarding customer deaths and estate issues. Insurance companies, credit card companies, and banks can all benefit from improved collections performance that results from superior data timeliness and accuracy.

Client Benefits: You’ll realize improved service delivery, increased efficiency and effectiveness, and greater ability to measure and manage the process (including Compliance). 𝙆𝙚𝙮 𝘼𝙧𝙚𝙖: 1035 Electronic Exchange Development: The 1035 Exchange process for L&H companies is fragmented, highly idiosyncratic, and error prone. This creates expense and delay at every step of the process, resulting in frustrated customers, producers, and carriers, and requiring participants to resort to first class mail and faxes. Clearly, there is a better way…and Evadata is building it! 𝙃𝙊𝙒 𝙄 𝘿𝙊 𝙄𝙏: True insights surface only through impartial observation and focused listening to the people most deeply involved in the processes under review, and communicating common sense solutions to senior management. Using this process, I am working with Evadata to launch a 1035 Electronic Exchange product. This product will enable carriers to submit and track 1035 exchanges in a central electronic repository. Industry aligned and funded, the exchange increases transparency for all parties, provides better service to policyholders, and reduces rework. Additionally, it will facilitate continuous improvement throughout the entire process…. a win/win for all parties. 𝙒𝙃𝙊 𝙄𝙎 𝙏𝙃𝙄𝙎 𝙁𝙊𝙍?
