Mr. Mizell provided design for a Global Network Architecture Nuclear Non Proliferation Detection System internationally and domestically. The system consist of graphical interfaces, security interfaces, optical character recognition interfaces, radiation portal monitoring interfaces, nonintrusive imaging, hardware and networking for communication systems, design review, and implementation as part of NNSA Department of Energy’s SLD Program. Gary is recognized as the ir visionary who for introducing a new software solution to the program. The adopted solution based on open architecture, yielded saving in excess of 20 million between 2008 and 2013. Savings were directly attributed to integration costs, long-term sustainability, and alignment of the architecture with current industry standards.

      Environmental and Integration Services, Fort Ord, CA. Mr. Mizell was the lead architect for the SCADA system installed at Fort Ord in 2001. Today he continues to manage the Army Corps automation portfolio at Fort Ord and Riverbank annual reports provide the road map for automation investments meeting the business needs. This work includes their Process Historian, forward migration of legacy software, implementing an automated calibration and maintenance software package, continuous improvement of their broadband network and annual calibrations. In conjunction with The Shaw Group, Mr. Mizell in 2007 designed and integrated an air stripper, booster pump, and landfill flare addition to the system. Additionally, he designed, integrated, and managed the installation of a GPS leak detection system. This system shuts down the facility upon a leak occurrence and alerts an operator to report the precise location of the leak. This was a priority road map item needed as of 2006.
