The Westin Hilton Head Resort & Spa is an international hotel brand located on Hilton Head Island. I completed a six month internship in the Food and Beverage department. During my internship I have acquired a vast range of skills replicating the high standard expected by the Westin brand. I have gained experience in fine dining, casual and café-style service, as well as indoor and outdoor pool-side and deck service. I have further developed my ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment whilst maintaining a customer-orientated mind-set. I have been able to develop my customer service skills as well as my ability to work as part of a team. I have been trained to work with various universal systems, such as Micros and OpenTable.
