A short term pop up bar that was dreamt up one night after a devastating fire burned down our existing business. Originally meant to last 3 months, we created a very successful food vendor and live music venue that was in operation for almost 2.5yearsWithin a month of the old bar burning down, we'd conceptualised, branded, designed, staffed, promoted and built a new venue called The Find. This became one of the busiest bars in Queenstown on a nightly basis with an emphasis on art, music, looking after locals and bringing something very different again to an over saturated town. We created a unique culture for both staff and patrons that was accessible, inviting and rewarding.Within this pop up bar we also created an incredibly popular food operation with initial goals of $300- $400 per day, we grew this tiny kitchen and adversely located business to achieve sales over $1500 in food alone on a daily basis.

I dealt with the Eurofighter Typhoon Project and worked within the fuel systems team. I analysed and compiled information and data reports of the fighter jet's fuel flow, pump operation and general performance whilst in normal flight, positive G and negative G scenarios. It was clear that there were many people around myself who had come straight from University into a similar position and never experienced more outside of their work and family environement. I eventually left this job to see more of the world, take more risks and get greater experience in more creative avenues. I gained great technical and analytical skills in this role and saw that poor communication within departments holds up progress immensely. It was also clear that a lack of adoption to technology also hinders productivity.
